A load of cooking, growing and foraging, by a guy whose tastebuds got a kick up the arse from a Sicilian ex and his family. Mangia! Mangia! is the exclamation that punctuates every visit to Palermo, as meals spill out of the kitchen and are interspersed with conversations about the food, the ingredients, about forthcoming meals and fondly remembered meals. This then is my go at bringing together that, with the darker, earthier, more wallflower-esque sensibilities of British cooking
It’s early days, but expect, in no particular order, a lot of pasta, and a lot of pies, cakes galore, preserves, seafood, puddings; recipes for them, stories about them and pictures of them.
